Tempered glass is four to five times stronger than standard glass frame and does not break into sharp pieces when it fails. The brittle nature of tempered glass causes it to shatter into small oval-shaped pebbles when broken. This eliminates the danger of sharp edges. A special “press-machine” is needed to frame the customers’ photo.

PhotoTac or Cold lamination is a process that does not require heat to activate the bonding adhesive. Cold lamination uses a pressure-sensitive adhesive to bind transparent film to the material being laminated such as photos. Cold Laminating film is available in a variety of finishes: 

Matte - This is a non-reflective finish that has a slightly granular look. Matte finishes tend to make image colors more vivid. 

Canvass - Provides a reduced level of glare, and has a canvass-texture. 

Leather - This finish reduces glare, and has a leather-texture. 

Glossy - This is a clear finish that brings out and emphasizes colors. It makes images look brighter, adds definition and radiance.
